Machinist / Lathe Operator

$20.00+/hr | Full-Time

Gentile Packaging Machinery is currently looking for a full time machinist and/or lathe operator in Bridgewater, MI (near Saline). We are offering a full time job with benefits, and an opportunity to join our team at a time of growth and new opportunities.

GPM does not run a normal production type shop where you will be machining the same parts on a daily basis. If you are the type of machinist that likes new challenges on a daily basis, and would like to avoid the monotony of a production shop, GPM could be the right fit for you.

  • Must be able to set up, program, and run stainless steel, aluminum and delrin parts on mills holding close tolerances AND/OR be able to run parts on a manual lathe (ROMI).
  • Ability to program ProtoTRAK MX2 and/or ProtoTRAK RMX CNC machines is also suggested.
  • Must be able to read machine drawings and build parts to specifications on drawings.
  • Must be experienced using micrometers, calipers, hand tools and other basic shop equipment.
  • Will be responsible for additional duties such as assembling machinery, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and more.
  • $20.00+ per hour depending on experience.
  • Minimum one year of machining experience required.
  • Full Time Position – Shop Hours are 7am – 3:30pm
